How about this then: Maybe he was just taking the car he "secretly" bought when back in England for a spin? Maybe he was on his way to meet with his son(s)? Or to meet friends or some blonde lady? Maybe he just wanted to go and watch some car racing somewhere? To consult a heart specialist? ... ... ... It was his favourite toy after all. No, we don't actually know, and maybe we never will. All possible valid reasons, I agree, but then again so is my reason to, EQUALLY .. and you're trying to prove what ? That none of us knows ? Yep, we don't know, she's speculating, same as you or the others - as @inna has already said above. Now what has become of that Bentley though ?

Huh ?! the point I am attempting to make is that my own opinion is as valid (and in many cases far more plausible and realistic ) as anyone else's on here, on here, the moment you dare diss Rossi, the rapidly diminishing current fan base turns up, with attempts to detract away, and blame anyone but their beloved leader,,,,,,,,,, I have news for you, none of that crap works on me & never will do

TBH, Rick and Francis hadn't been getting along since the late 70's early 80's... Everything from '86 onwards was simply for SHOW. They were the faces of Quo so ofcourse it had to look like they were getting along.
Prior to the Quos Back tour, they were sent on a personal appearances tour to try and make them 'pals' again.
I'm looking forward to a release of any of Ricks material... Solo album or the PLC material, hell even release his 1985 solo album and I'll buy it cause the songs aren't that bad... and most of them were released on the Army album to try and fill it up cause they had no new material. It was an album with covers, old songs that were scrapped from other releases & Ricks solo material.

I was so relieved when I read they hadn't turned the acoustic set into yet another greatest hits set like the one they played at the Hyde Park gig. And it's not the same set as on the last acoustic tour either. I don't mind them playing a song or two I don't like, that's inevitable nearly, as long as there are changes and lesser known (and played !) songs. In fact, the way they've changed the acoustic set is exactly what would be perfect for the electric set as well.

Had Glasgow still been acoustic, then I'd definitely be going but it isn't, so, I don't think I'll bother.
Although I would like to see Richie live, just to see how good he is.

Re: yer last comment, surely, you would need to see em do a plugged in gig to be able to gauge how good you think Richie is as an acoustic gig wouldn't really show that would it ?

It's just marketing and I'm not the least bit bothered about any slogan on a promo poster. They could've written 'it flies' or 'it hops around in circles' and I couldn't care less. The one important thing for me is the 'Aquostic live' bit. That's what I expect and I'd mind very much if I'd not get that. The rest lies in the eye of the beholder - whether you feel an acoustic gig can rock or not. Btw. a rocking chair does rock too ..

I guess whenever I see the term "it rocks" or similar used I associate it with rock music in the main, all down to how each of us define it I suppose & some would associate it with any type of music.

"It Rocks" reminds me of the time I bought Just Supposin', played it and thought it was brilliant (still do) but then Rock And Roll came on after the fabulous Coming And Going. Since then, I've remained sceptical about the word "rock" in any context. Except geology of course.
