I got it today(ordered before Easter) having heard 2 or 3 tracks on laptop.
Have to say it's fantastic. Apart from Halloween, which sounds too 80's for me.
It sounds fantastic through my speakers at home.. Been playing it all day.
Great to hearRick really Rockin-out. And we'll done to the musicians who contributed and the producers who've done a stand out job.
5-out-5. Best thing I've heard come out of the Quo camp, by a country mile, including all the solo projects since Never Too Late. (although I really like Quid Pro Quo)..

While the album may have dropped to No.47 in the official chart, it is No.18 in the physical UK sales chart, No.4 in the UK indie chart, No.14 in the Scottish Chart, No.17 in Austria, No.11 in ~Switzerland. so overall it's done pretty damn good.
Has it been released in NZ or Australia?

Loved the first few playing’s of it. It is better than I expected, especially in production terms and is a fine tribute. BUT I must admit I have become bored of it. There is nothing to keep me listening with fresh ears. It used to happen with the odd Quo album. The albums you absolutely love on the first day don’t end up being your favourites in hindsight years later. Just Supposing is a prime example for me as I don’t like it much and prefer NTL which was more of a grower. I think it’s down to the diversity of the tracks on an album in the long run. Keeps things a bit more fresh sounding. Still love the T shirt though !!

There are some more songs of Rick's that haven't been released, yet, besides those on Recorded Delivery and the songs already put on Quo albums. They need to wait and see how Over and Out does in order to decide if any more Rick songs should be released one day. Interesting comment. Particularly bearing in mind how successful Over And Out has been. Thank you for sharing @inna

To not release them would be a waste, so the question rather will be the formate in which to do it - especially if not enough tunes are left for another solo album. Interesting to learn the songs had obviously mainly been written around Rick's RMC participation. That makes much more sense then him having done it all in those few last months after the last heart attack. A time he seemed to have managed to stay away from drinks and fags too. Maybe having been sober had helped with creativity and his attitude towards work ? Sadly he wasn't able to keep it up for long enough - to save his health (and ultimately life), to sway Francis' opinion about more FF, to finish his solo album himself and see its release .. All that's left from today's POV is another set of 'what ifs' ..

He's using one in that little film of him and Francis going round the brewery for the "Dog" beer. Too little too late no doubt. But its evident from his solo album that he still had creativity in him. It was motivation that always seemed to be the issue.

You're right of course, but I'd say most of the damage, as it's never too late to do at least something. Obviously for a while Rick really meant it, when talking about looking after his health now, but it seemed to not have lasted for too long. Fags contain so many toxic substances, some take decades to get out of the system, but others you're rid of within days. Maybe he'd have gained a few more months or years to see his kids grow up a little longer if he had kept it up. But we can't know - and that's one of the standard excuses of drinkers and smokers. The lack of definite proof what it really costs them makes them not take the threat to their health (and lives) too serious ..
