As for Leon- you'd never think he'd only played 8 or 9 gigs so far with Quo- he's fitted in seamlessly. 10cc- it was good to see such a professional band support Quo. Rubber Bullets went down a storm. And " I don't like Falkirk..I love it" was a nice touch from them. Was it me or is Creepin Up a bit slower these days? One slightly odd thing- no mention at all of the new album. Not even over p.a at end. Quo need to sort this out- are they the only band in works to have album in charts yet its not mentioned at all? All in all a very enjoyable night. Read more: quo.boards.net/thread/2678/falkirk#ixzz2X5P09K00

It was a breath of fresh air when I heard that new start to a gig for the first time last autumn, no Wanderer, no SBYBIL (hope they never return) and instead PP and HYB which get you bouncing and headbanging from the start Would be nice if someone would ask them (Francis) - maybe for ftmo magazine - what the reasoning behind the not mentioning of new material is. The last time I've heard Francis mention an album at a gig must've been Heavy Traffic. Maybe they've simply given up on a record buying public along the lines of 'the fans will buy it anyway, the others won't, whatever we say' ?

Thanks for your report, cammy Maybe Francis feels awkward because they don't play a song from BQ (yet). So he would have to say: Hey guys we have a new album... but you have to come back in winter to hear us playing a song from it.

Glad you enjoyed the gig. Haven't seen Leon with Quo yet but hoping to go to Rochester in July.

Flew up Saturday morning, stayed in the Grange Hotel about 10 minute walk away. Would recommend it. Meet up with 2 of my cousins from Girvan which was nice. As has been said a great gig, same set as Copenhagen but it was very good. We like Wild Side Of Life, reminds me when i was a youngster and it was my Dad's favourite by Hank Thompson. Also, although a little bit short, good to see Again Again in the medley. Nice stadium, got down the front, Rhino side. Tennants Lager in cans Still tried a few. We have seen the band a few times this year but this was the best gig so far. As usual the band seemed to enjoy themselves. I would defy anyone not to enjoy Status Quo at a live gig. We drove past ground yesterday, a large crane lifting off the roof of the stage, clever. Went to the Falkirk Wheel,,,,,,,whats happening,,,,a tourist,,,me. Flew home yesterday We both agreed a great weekend
