I'm not sure, but I think touring in the winter really isn't attractive to them anymore. In fact, tours of any description. I suppose it's like anyone once they get older and want to just give up work after decades of toil. If they can, they will. Well, Francis in particular and that's what drives things. Summer gigs, especially festival appearances, must be so much easier to do; and maybe quite lucrative. I did notice they were doing the Moon & Stars festival in Locarno next year. Me and Mrs Mortified did that one back in 2008 and it was terrific. The location is amazing. Thinking of doing it again. But probably won't. We weren't exactly young then and it was 15 years ago! One last hurrah would be nice. Whether we ever get that opportunity, we'll just have to see.

Quite possible that the pandemic put a bit of a dent in the whole idea of touring in the winter. Francis regularly got sick on tours before. A lot going around in the colder months.
