As I can’t go this time due to work commitments, I wondered how it’s going?

I'm not going until this Saturday, so if there's nothing by then I'll stick something on here.
I haven't seen any reviews so far. Official or otherwise.

This sounds pretty nice, including lots of improv bits:

The Glasgow gig was excellent. The venue was rammed and wildly enthusiastic and Quo played for a very long time. Not sure how long but more than 1½ hours. The medley is a marathon with some songs being played almost all the way through. Almost all renditions are longer than in any previous medleys. Or it certainly seemed that way. Rollin' Home certainly was, as was Mystery Song. The encore has changed from any set lists you may have seen by the way. A word of praise for Richie Malone who I thought was outstanding on the night. No one can ever replace Rick, and even he says that, but his rhythm playing has become a serious powerhouse in this line up, and also contributes backing vocals on almost every song and takes lead on a couple. Oh, and a word of warning for the naive (i.e. me), the tour programme is exactly the same one that they were selling in March. It was sold out online months ago, so I automatically assumed it was a new one. Alas, the marketing bandits were waiting to rob me. As marketing bandits do

As marketing bandits do Great review, sounds like I’m missing a great gig. Shame I can’t make it this time around. Interesting comments about Richie, as some of the clips I’ve seen on YT shine a light on his playing. I don’t remember him sounding that prominent in March when I saw them, but that may have been down to the mix, or sheer wall of sound 🙂 How was shaky, did he go down well? Thanks for the review 👍

Thanks for the review 👍 Shaky went down very well. He had his own fan club of course but he had the whole place standing by the end. The first half of his set was all newer material. I recognised one or two tracks from his excellent Echoes of Our Times album, and then the old singles kicked in. He was all over the place at times forgetting words and even what came next but he was still entertaining. Someone told me he was 74 so strength to his arm. Did a cover of John Fogerty's Have You Ever Seen The Rain I remember as well. I'd never have given Shaky the time of day in the 80's but with age comes mellowness and probably a greater appreciation of different things 👍

Leeds = outstanding
A really enjoyable gig from start to finish. Same setlist, loving the extended medley. Burning Bridges live is just so good, the whole place was rocking.

How can you not stand to "Merry Xmas everyone" He wasn't bad, not too keen on the new stuff. Marie, Marie was my fav. The Creedence track was good.

Thanks for the reviews everyone, I’m a bit gutted at not being able to go, but these things happen at times. At least I saw them earlier in the year🙂
I saw the medley last night in full on YouTube and really enjoyed it, what struck me the most was Richie’s vocal, they sounded great.

I doubt I'll make it to the tour but almost everything I've seen in terms of videos sure makes me wanna go.

It obviously was a photographer who came up with this 'review': Not many words - and that's an understatement - but lots of nice pics
