Just watched the documentary that I’d recorded from sky arts a couple of weeks ago and I throughly enjoyed it.
I’m not a fan really but I have a massive amount of admiration for Gary, for the way he has ridden the storm and reinvented himself as a great artist who is incredibly popular. I actually felt emotional for the guy when it showed him getting emotional in his wife’s arms before his Wembley arena gig.
Brilliant documentary, we’ll worth a look if you like him ( I know You like a bit of him Morty )

I saw this on the menu and it's available on catch-up. We've every intention of watching it at some point.
We tend to binge watch something once we find a prog we like so we'll do it after that. At the moment it's "Black Mirror" on Netflix. Don't think there are many episodes to go.
I'm semi-aware of how Gary Numan's career has panned out because I went out with a girl in the 80's who was a big fan. But it was this performance on "Top of the Pops" in 2003 that grabbed my attention again and I've loved his music ever since.

It is well worth a watch, there’s some lovely comments from other musicians on there as well. It’s nice to see he’s got himself sorted out and has a great support network around him. That is a great clip and I can see why it ignited an interest in you. I must check out some of his post 2000 stuff. Oh, I’ve heard about black mirror, it’s supposed to be really good.

"Black Mirror" is quite odd but very watchable, craydarr . Each one is a different story and it's a mixture of American and British. Some well known British TV faces around. Hard to describe it but all of them so far have concentrated on a not too distant future where social media, mobile phones but, importantly, other new technologies form the basis of the story. I think they're all trying to tell us where we're heading! I'm thinking of turning off the location services on my phone

I got into him when I heard Dead Son Rising. His last 4 studio albums have been excellent. I still need to delve back to his earlier stuff as I never liked him when he first came out.

Finally got round to watching it last night. Very good. Given its length I was surprised it sort of glossed over the late 80's when his career and standard of material plummeted a bit and led to him recording what he does today. That period was never all bad (1988's Metal Rhythm is a good album), but it was very important in terms of his career as it is now. He really is an innovator and one day may get the credit he deserves. I also found it interesting that he had no time for nostalgia and was only really concerned about today and tomorrow, dismissing Cars as basically irrelevant to him. But his wife knows the importance of the past and keeps it alive.
