Yeah, it was on the other board just the other day. I saw Spider a few times; not sure how many. Three or four times maybe. Supporting Gillan on tour was certainly one. They sort of filled a gap for me when there was no Quo record or tour on the go. I bought the single All The Time after hearing it on the radio and sort of kept an eye on them after that. I still think they never bettered that track though. 61 is no age at all

Real shame they never got anywhere

Real shame they never got anywhere I'm pretty sure they appeared on The Tube back in the 80's. That prog with Jools Holland and Paula Yates. I'm as sure as I can be that I recorded it. I think I stuck it on the end of my Quo NEC video recording. Good music prog that. You got a right cross-section of stuff and it was all live. But you're right; they never really hit the big time. Rode the new wave of British heavy metal for a year or two and that was that really.

I wonder why Quo never went on it, I suppose not hip enough. Article here about Spider, I’ll read it later www.loudersound.com/features/think-you-re-unlucky-you-re-lucky-you-weren-t-in-spider
