Really like the B-Sides from 1986 to 1991. Heartburn is top notch. I like Democracy and She Knew Too Much and, especially, Down To You, from the Thirsty Work era. Also like Temporary Friend a lot.

Not for me really. It's OK. Wonder whose idea it was to cover it? I'm trying to think who in the band at that time would have been listening to Leonard Cohen. Can't see it being Rick

Yes there are a lot of good ones from that period, She Knew Too Much and Down To You are strange ones as I shouldn’t really like them but I do. Down to You is so catchy it’s untrue. Things like Lonely, Long Legged Girls, Heartburn and Halloween are real crackers and are better than some of the album tracks. Are they actually Quo tracks where all the band plays on them, or just Parfitt solo tracks re-hashed?

As was Don't Give It Up actually. That's Alright was a Rossi/Frost solo effort. I'm not sure if any were re-recorded. I don't think so. Although the two versions of That's Alright were slightly different if I remember rightly. Only marginally though.

Down To You is great! Would have been cool to hear it with a RTYD kind of sound. Halloween is a different mix from the original Recorded Delivery album. The original mix was released on Over And Out. Some synths are louder. There are other changes but the difference is not that big. Lonely is a Quo track, as it was supposed to be included on the ITAN album, but was dropped to a B-side. It's also a Rossi/Parfitt composition. Heartburn I dare say it's a Quo track (I think Francis's voice can be heard in there, at least) and, as far as I know, was not supposed to be on Rick's album. Long Legged Girls and Don't Give It Up (and Late Last Night) I think are just Rick's albums songs. Now, things at the time were weird, so we can't really be sure who played on what, some times. Just guessing. EDIT: Just saw Mortified also replied. That's Alright was a Rossi/Frost solo effort, yes, but their version was released on the Back To Back Deluxe. The one Quo used as B-side was re-recorded. I would say they are quite different actually ahah
