Despite there being a massive shuffle with the set list with a lot of the big favourites being scraped, songs like Burning Bridges, Bye Bye Johnny, Big Fat Mama, The Wanderer etc which have been replaced with 4 tracks from the Backbone album I have to say it was still a most enjoyable night Rocking to Quo, Rossi did forget the words a few times but that's nothing new, I also felt it was a little bit weak and flat at times but I quess that's down to being grounded by the pandemic for 2 and a half years. In all it was good to see Quo back on stage Belting out the Classics and playing some new ones. I will give last night's concert a 8 out of 10 with room for improvement

I think they're still finding their feet a bit. As was I!
It'll be interesting to see which Backbone tracks remain for the winter tour. I expect the encore will be a little longer (with Shaky?) and probably include the almost seasonal Burning Bridges.
I know it's almost become traditional but I'd really like them to shuffle the last 5 songs of the main set around. Just to keep us guessing a bit. It's been Army, Roll Over Lay Down, Down Down, Whatever You Want & Rockin' for years now. But the long lay-off suggests it's not going to change. Ever.
