This is a brilliant album and the best live release I've heard in many a year. Quo live albums generally suffer from the sheer repetitiveness of the set. Charge! on the other hand is fresh, loud and heavy. It's basically a blues/rock album and a very good one. Loads of highlights and probably too many to mention because there isn't a below average track on it. I've been following various versions of Rhino's Revenge and Woodedz for a couple of decades now and they're never less than superb. Tell you what, Rhino's Revenge wouldn't be the worst support act for Quo; unless they're scared of the competition of course And Mr Edwards might be a little fatigued by the end. Mind you, he'd get a nice rest during Leon's bit Seriously, I'll be playing and enjoying this album for a long time Had I heard this, say, in the mid-70's it would have gone near the top of any list of "best live albums" that crop up now and again these days. I absolutely love it.

Had forgotten about this, I have now ordered it off the back of your recommendation.
It had better be good otherwise I’m coming to get my £15 back off you 😆

I absolutely love it. It is indeed a great live album and shows what great musicians they all are. There is only 1 track which I’m not so keen on and that is Mine all Mine. Lucinda comes across really well on it, it’s a track that has never been a favourite but on this live album it drives along nicely and is as heavy as flippety gibbet . I’d certainly recommend it. My number was 404 btw.
