There are Quo tracks on there covered by Johns band, some of it is post 86 stuff like Dreamin and Ain’t Complain.
Is it genuine or just Quo’s music mistakingly listed as John ?
I don’t have a Spotify account, but have attached a link, not sure if it will work

Interesting, but that one doesn't have "Mystery Song", and that is clearly a re-recording. Also, "Roadhouse Blues" is ten minutes instead of just four, so the Italian CD I linked to seems to be the more correct answer.

It is a pity that Spotify seem to have mixed up the two bands though If I had a Spotify account, I'd certainly be drawn - and ultimately disappointed - to find that John Coghlan's band hadn't covered Overdose after all. To be fair, why would he?

I wouldn't blame Spotify. They just put up what labels supply, including some very dubious labels. Look at the copyright notice on the bottom of the page - actually, since this "album" exists several times on Spotify, there are several too: (C) Timeless, (C) Rare, (C) Coglan (!)...
The bad sounding upload of the "Doing Their Thing" session is supposedly copyrighted by "Hatbox"!
