I remember that Wembley review Francis mentions. I was just a teenager and they'd slagged off my heroes. Yet again. At that age, you tend to believe what you read, as Francis hints at. But you learn pretty quickly. And, unfortunately, that cynicism about journalism stays with you the rest of your days. Good interview, the first one. I'll get round to the second later

Thanks craydarr for these articles. To read them in the context of the band's situation in the 70's / 80s was an interesting trip down memory lane. Although I was aware of most of the info I didn't know about Rossi/Parfitt overdubbing some of Nuff's bass parts, that made me smile As I say, within the context of the 80s fallout, I can believe it.

I wonder when they would have started that. I don't believe there was any tinkering going on with bass parts on the early albums. Nuff would've caught on to that, wouldn't he? "this is certainly the last line-up of Quo" Oh Rick...
