Funnily enough, it's Dog of Two Head. I got the fairly recent red vinyl re-release and it encouraged me to play the mp3. Several times. I've played On The Level a few times as well. Well, most of it. I always skip Bye Bye Johnny. Have done since the olden days

I always skip Bye Bye Johnny. Have done since the olden days I do have a real soft spot for DOTH, it’s a great album and I have listened to that a few times in the car. Of the FF albums Piledriver has had a lot of listens this year as well. I have got WYW in the car at the moment, there is some good bits but overall I’m still not convinced about the album.

I should give Backbone more of a listen. I stumbled across Running Out of Time the other day. It actually came on my iPhone when I pressed the wrong button. I was trying something completely different and not even listening to music. Me to a 'T' that But I really enjoyed it. And it's not even the best track on the album!

If it was the first one for you then that explains it, mine was Back2Back and it’s certainly not a classic but I still have a soft spot for it. 🙂

I'm another one who has played the Dog album alot, the original PYE '71 release. Other albums I have regularly played during the year, Piledriver, 12 Gold Bars, Glasgow Live '76 and Hammersmith Live '13

On a slightly different note I recently bought accept no substitute from Amazon for £3.90 ish. 3 cds for that, what a bargain.
I bought it just to keep in the car for playing whenever I feel like a Quo fix. 🙂

None in particular, but I've criss-crossed my way around the 80s and 90s albums recently... As craydarr says, quite brave that. Some would even say foolhardy Although, there are some gems if you start at Just Supposin' and stop at Under The Influence. I actually gave Thirsty Work a listen not that long ago. To see if I still disliked most of it. All shiny remastered and with new $hit-hot headphones. It's still, as they say, not for me. I also believe that it's largely the arrangements of the songs rather than the material itself. With guitars heavily watered down and out of place synths much more to the fore. I've nothing against synths by the way. I just think the way they were used on this album (and one or two others) didn't work and even detracted from the songs. There, said my piece. I'll scuttle off now

None in particular, but I've criss-crossed my way around the 80s and 90s albums recently... Brave person. Anything u went back to time and again ? I'm trying to listen to everything about the same amount of times! It's a disease that comes from buying these complete album boxsets (Yes, Rush, Joe Cocker), where I start with the first included album and end with the last one. Rock 'Til You Drop does stick out for various reasons... but I also find myself drawn a bit towards Ain't Complaining. Maybe because it's not as uneven as In the Army Now or Perfect Remedy. In the last few weeks I've gone back to the classic era and revisited Quo, Hello! and On the Level. Must do Piledriver and Blue for You soon, too. Thing is, I'm almost overly familiar with some of the 70s stuff. I've nothing against synths by the way. I just think the way they were used on this album (and one or two others) didn't work and even detracted from the songs. There, said my piece. I'll scuttle off now Fair's fair. I also would've produced Thirsty Work differently but I can mostly hear past those issues. The synths don't annoy me as much here as on songs like "Going Down Town Tonight" or "Dreamin'"
