I didn't listen to any original Quo over the last weeks, but I did listen to some of Eric's ( telejazzman ) versions on yt: Mystery Song, Don't Wate My Time, Francis' Crazy For You .. Really, really good (Oh yep, and nothing do with Quo, Cotton Fields and Tale Of Two Sixties ).

Thought the whole Stockholm Radiohuset Broadcast from the 25th November 1971 was common knowledge. Sanctuary purchased the broadcast tapes back in the early 2000's and put together a release. It went as far as being available for pre-order and promo discs were sent out. Nothing ever came of it because Quo didn't want it releasing and the plug was pulled.
Alan would never have seen any royalties from it due to losing his share in Quo during the whole lawsuit in the mid 80s, and John (I'm pretty sure) gave up his shares when he left Quo.

And I was one of the losers who ordered it To say I was disappointed was putting it mildly. I've had a copy for ages but an official release would have been nice.

I wanted to get that included when I suggested the final word on the Pye era, but not much became of it. What is it with stuff that doesn't get officially released soon though, wouldn't the copyright expire on that?

If it's been sat there and hasnt been used at all then yes, but with the Stockholm show going as far as It did, any copyright on it would have been renewed essentially before Quo said no to it.
