Paper Plane had been chosen by a listener as a Golden Oldie or whatever it's called...and then he just carried on and followed it with Down Down, POMM, Whatever You Want and Rocking. And then he was very complimentary about them afterwards.

He's said on several occasions that he was a big Quo fan. Can't remember if he was in the 70s or 80s ? I suspect both.🤔👍

From 83 onwards.. totally unforgettable. Makes me cringe the garbage recorded in that period... ☹☹

That caught me off guard as I hadn't expected anything like it at the time. From then on there're merely two good-ish albums up till RTYD IMO: WYW and AC. The first is probably the closest Quo ever got to a concept album, while the second is a very 80s pop album but as such not bad. Not what I want from Quo though .. They're forgiven though: Drugs + alcohol + personal lives in shambles + no quality control whatsoever had to inevitably have consequences and they've pulled together their act since ..
