Bournemouth on the last night. If you haven’t done Bournemouth I highly recommend as they set up in the stalls area is standing so no one moaning about you standing up and a cracking atmosphere

The European ones are interesting as well. I've been to L'Olympia in Paris a couple of times and also the Gasometer in Vienna and both are great venues. If I fancy a trip Cardiff is probably a must so we can catch up with some mates. Glasgow probably. And I always consider the Hammy. I'm as well doing Paris as Brighton or Bournemouth. It's easier to get to! I'll have forgotten what Backbone sounds like by the time this tour comes round

I’ve done it twice. Standing venue, the Dutch are up for a good time . And it’s easy to get to the venue- a metro from the city centre near the main train station only takes 10 minutes, with the venue right outside the station

My observations: 1) Smaller venues do reflect a decline in popularity. With any luck, they'll be playing my village hall in 2021. 2) UK dates are fewer - only seven. 3) Typical Quo - release a new album and wait a year to promote it. The marketing strategy beggars belief! 4) Tickets on sale from next week - so they want the cash FIFTEEN months in advance. Not for me, thanks. 1984 was "the End of the Road" ("we're not splitting up, just not touring (so that we can dump Alan)") tour, then in 1986 they were back. 2016 was supposed to be the "End of the Electrics" but of course in true Quo style, that changed as well. I'm not falling for the "we're not touring anymore"/"we're touring again"/"we're acoustic only"/"we're fully electric again" lark anymore. Hammersmith v. Greenwich/Wembley is a no brainer - Hammersmith wins every time!

I thought we might see a Zurich Hallenstadion in there but it's early days yet I suppose. It's also an even number. They only play there on odd years

Will there be no fanclub presale? What the use of being a member if they stop the presale?

And here's me slaving over a hot PC.

I went! Or was it the year before? Edit. Just looked it up on setlist FM. Yes they did play the Hallenstadion, 6th October 2018. Thought I was getting alzheimers!

Thought they had enough of winter tours ? The timing is strange as well. Why didn't they do the tour this year, while they've got a strong new album out ? Next year it'll be old news Somehow it looks like they didn't expect BB to be that successful and the choice of venues suggests they don't quite trust in their pulling power anymore, which IMO is a mistake. It'll be Frankfurt Jahrhunderthalle for us. I like that one. Haven't seen them there for quite a few years. Think it was built for classical concerts, so it's one venue with great acoustics. Strassburg would be an option as well ..

They're different, at least some of them, and they're going for the really big arenas. In Berlin they usually play the Tempodrom with about 5000 capacity. Next year it'll be the Max-Schmeling-Halle with 12K nearly. From memory the Olympiahalle holds 14K. They've played there before though. The one we're looking at is probably the smallest of all with merely 4800 max. I should add that it's a few areas missing completely that I find strange and when talking about smaller venues I referred to the UK ones.

Whilst that can be annoying/frustrating at the time, in my opinion it doesn't really matter now. They've announced a tour, and either you want to see this lineup or you don't, regardless of what they've said and done in the past. Each to their own. I'm not going to tell you how to feel.
