Didn't even know she had a show on ITV. I like Sara Cox. Always a good presenter and quite amusing. Not unpleasant to look at either But that's an uncalled for sexist remark. Been watching too much Life On Mars lately I'll give that a whirl

We actually have the ITV Hub 'On Demand' facility with Sky TV so I've downloaded the programme to the Sky box and will flick through it later. It's only 45 minutes long. Broadcast yesterday morning I think.

Just watched it. She spoke to Francis along with 3 other guests (the only one I knew was Craig Charles). Francis was dressed in a suit with a waistcoat and a tie and his customary white socks that stopped being fashionable before the end of the 80s! Sara promoted the album although they didn't really talk about it.
Then Quo played (pretended to) Liberty Lane. Andrew and Rhino were also wearing shirts and jackets, but not ties and waistcoats! Ritchie and Leon were slightly less formally dressed, but no one looked like they were in a rock band. They looked more like the house band. Reminded me of when they were promoting Don't Stop!
Then after some more chatting with the other 2 guests Frame got up again and they closed the show with RAOTW.
Francis seems a lot less comfortable on these sort of shows without Rick. Personally I would put Rhino up there with him to lighten the mood (the answers) somewhat and play the Rick role.
Anyway, it is what it is, and it's good to see them still on TV and getting the chance to promote the new album. I think the song fits in well on this sort of show. It's good, its tuneful and it's classic current Quo.

Yeah, Francis and Craig Charles seemed like buddies from the past, sharing a wink and a smile, but the other two guests were unknown to me. Although the bloke looked like Roger Whittaker. I agree. I thought Francis in particular was very formally dressed. Mrs Mortified commented that he looked like he was going to a funeral I dare say as far as the band are concerned the "old men in boys clothes" line was never more relevant. Those white socks were Nike I noticed though. So at least it wasn't a pack of three from Primark. OK, I'm struggling here But it was good to hear Liberty Lane. I didn't hang about for Rockin….
They didn't really talk much about the new album but Sara at least had a vinyl copy of it so we know what the reverse sleeve looks like!

I don't know the show, naturally, and Francis has always enjoyed to dress up like this (seems to get even worse with age ). The other two old men wearing formal stuff too would indicate to me that it was done to fit into the show ? After all it's not what you'd picture Rhino wearing usually ..

It seems very old fashioned but maybe it's a Sunday thing. Traditionally it's always been seen as the 'dress up in your finest' day, especially with older generations. I suppose that revolves round the whole church-going thing. Although that doesn't reflect Francis's outlook to be fair. The show itself is very informal and no one else was dressed up. Craig Charles had a pretty funky shirt on. And Sara had a nice jumper I couldn't help but noticing All academic I suppose. They wear what they wear. But I've been following this lot long enough now to believe that nothing is accidental. Things are done for a reason, even something as apparently innocent as Rhino wearing a jacket
