I admit, I have no willpower !
Get Ready to Rock played Falling off The World and for me, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it as I feel the samples so far just haven’t done it justice.
It’s a shuffle but there’s lots of great elements making up this track .
The riff in the middle, the spacey bit , Francis’ lead break is really good ....it’s more than just a bog standard track in my opinion

Like you, I'm not convinced they're doing the album any justice. But do these things ever? I haven't disliked anything I've heard but neither has anything blown me away and left me desperate for more. I guess the moral is, I should listen to my conscience and DON'T listen!

It funny , I have a feeling this album will be the different Quo album Francis wanted Thirsty Work to be, but much better

Just listened to it 4 times on BBC Sounds app. Really really like it....more than I Wanna Run Away With You, which I also quite like.

Need to reply to this thread as this indeed is a belter of a song imo. My favourite track at the moment. Just pure pure Quo. Rossi’s vocal takes you back. And that lead break with the change in key is just sublime. You can’t tell me that 25 seconds of Magic would not slot right in there on any FF album.

A pure pure Quo song.....from their 40 year old 5th drummer! And we thought it was exclusive to the Frantic Four! I love it by the way. One of my favourite songs on the album.

That break in the middle before the solo (and also at the end). Oh, that break! Funny how a few bars can take an entire song from just good to the sublime.

I've tried to refrain from being anything other than positive about this album at the moment because I love it.....but the length of the intros and outros would be one thing that I would change, especially on this song. As I've been saying for a while, 'trust the riff'. Especially on this album where there are so many good riffs.
