I don't know if anyone follows Leon on Twitter. people say Quo are on the wane dwindling audiences, blah blah blah. See below, I realise they are playing festivals but look at the size of the audience. If that's a band going downhill??? http://instagram.com/p/Bznslrznv6i

I know the arena - merely from the outside though. Lovely area, but typical francais - a little run down. We stayed at a hotel close to it and had to leave climbing out of the window as the door wouldn't open again. When we saw the band last year the Kraftwerk was sold out and absolutely packed as well.

Never had that before in a hotel, although when I saw the FF in 2013 I stayed in a cheap hotel just for myself where the basement door window was broken and boarded up. I slept with my wallet in hand, tucked under my pillow. 😃😃

I'm not on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook or anything else. This place is as close to social media as I've ever got But I do get tempted when I see something like this. Quo are not on the wane. They know precisely what they're doing (sometimes ). And Backbone going straight in at no.1 in the UK will be testimony to that. OK, I'm also an eternal optimist

Or else how did you plan to protect your wallet .. When the owner told us he'd have to get a locksmith to get that d** door open again and that it'll take a few hours, I decided there had to be another way out. Problem was it was the first floor and we had to diagonally grab a veranda post to climb into it and then down - with all the luggage from two weeks in Spain and with the kids. Otherwise it was fun .. but beware of French hotels, no matter how great the location ..

It was an old French city hotel .. probably not the first time something like that occurred. They weren't too bothered and happy with our solution. Once they got the door open again, I'd assume business as normal was resumed and the next guests could challenge fate .. . Oi, I know a similar hotel in Paris .. Just a stone throw from the Centre Pompidou, but ..
