You can't say you don't have enough choices this time .. Let's see how it goes, but from the dislike poll I'd say we've got a few 'favourites' to not make the album.

I just had to vote for the one original song, even with it cut into pieces - Nanana anyone ? . And then it was down my covers ranking starting from #1 When I'm Dead And Gone to #8 Rock'n'Me, which was a tough one, as I absolutely love the original (definitely better than the Quo version). So I might change my mind to Claudette or Sweet Home Chicago ..

This is tricky. It's such a poor album that finding 8 is a bit of a challenge Wait till Thirsty Work
The best tracks were on the remaster (live versions of Forty Five Hundred Times (totally brilliant) , Rain and Gerdundula) but, OK, the original it is. Probably these and in no particular order: Way Down Roll Over Beethoven (faithful to ELO's version - now there's a shock ) When I'm Dead And Gone Sweet Home Chicago (could have been SO much better; Woodedz did a fantastic version) Memphis Runaround Sue Old Time Rock And Roll Rock 'n' Me
I wish to add a disclaimer that this in no way indicates any kind of praise for these tracks. They're the just the best of a distinctly (below) average bunch
I feel like I've done this before but maybe it was just a Famous v Something Else....

An 8 track album is possible, a listenable 8 track album on the other hand is rather problematic.

I know it's not the most popular album, but consider it the other way round: You can throw out lots of tunes you don't like, hence try to make it more listenable. So it would be nice if more members could bring themselves to vote ..

Do I have to listen to the whole album to make the votes?
If yes, then I'd probably need a couple of strong drinks before.

FILC OTRnR Rave On When I’m Dead Sweet Home Chicago Memphis Claudette Rock n Me
I have said many time before I don’t like this album, by far the worst of the covers albums and any other album really, bar 1. 🙂

So far it looks like: This album is another case of first half much stronger than second. And they/Rick (?) have obviously chosen the wrong tunes for Rick to sing.

I know a lot of people don't like it but as I've said before, this is my favourite of the covers albums. I did like Riffs but think I just about prefer this one.

I suppose that's for one because I don't have an attachment to most songs, so can take them simply as Quo songs, and secondly in this case the number of songs you can choose from is an advantage. You can skip half the album and are still left with enough tunes. And it doesn't have the embarrassment factor that went with Don't Stop and its image of the band. Riffs could've been better - without the re-recordings ..

Hey what about a few more of you would vote for their 8-track album, even if it's not the most popular of Quo releases. 10 isn't exactly a lot ..
