Just a word to say that despite a festival set of an hour, they still played the two new songs!
Cut Me Some Slack fits perfectly- it sounds like it’s been in the set for years.
Leon’s drumming really pounds- it’s very beefy.
Great stuff

I prefer Liberty Lane....but I wish they would trust the riff and play a longer outro rather than cutting it short like this one, or singing over it like in other songs.

The songs went down absolutely fine, however it’s noticeable the reaction Army, Down Down WYW and RAOTW get .
The crowds love these songs

The crowds love these songs Which I guess is why they play these types of festivals and why they will always be in the set. Falling off a log coupled with crowd appreciation. An electric set at Hyde Park will be interesting. I think the Clean Bandit fan club members will be going to the bar. For a still water with a slice of lime obviously

The crowds love these songs one of the reasons I've stopped watching Quo.. 🤔🙄🤢 Well, we can endure them - after all they are merely three songs - if the rest is interesting enough. Something that wasn't always the case to put it politely . Last summer it were enough changes to make it interesting again and this year seems to be a step in the right direction as well with the new songs. But why on earth does SBYBIL or the BBJ snippet have to be in the set and why couldn't they keep Mystery Song instead of Rain ? And a change of order would help too - from about halfway through the set is always the same. Can't see JCQ or most other tributes be any better though, most of them play the same old as well with very few exceptions. A tribute act that plays the tunes from RTYD on, now that would be great !

Bored as we all are of these songs, you can see why Quo have to play them. And even more so now when you look at the types of audiences they are tending to play in front of. The new album will presumably give us something else to listen to if we go to a gig (a la Heavy Traffic for example, where two more songs were added to the two they'd previewed the year before). This could well be Quo's last ever studio album of new material judging by some of the sound bytes we've been getting. Although, if we know anything, it's that we don't know anything
