Make an 8 track album from .. Under The Influence

With UTI a relatively short album we only have to leave out four tracks. Which might still be hard enough - for me at least, as I merely voted for 2 tracks from the album in the dislike poll. So I have to find another two ..

Generally speaking I had thought the album was more popular, but seeing how the voting on its songs went, I'm obviously in a minority. And some might have difficulties to even come up with 8 (don't want to disappoint the customers of your album though   ).

So what are your choices ?

From my perspective I've a great A-side with
Twenty Wild Horses
Under The Influence
Little White Lies
Little Me And You

and a still relatively ok B-side with
Blessed Are The Meek
Making Waves
The Way It Goes
Roll The Dice

Order changed slightly on the B-side.

I found I could get a pretty solid 8 track album out of that, the only one I had really qualms about including was, Roll the Dice, is an okay song but not as good as the other seven I’ve selected. However, in my opinion, is a good bit ahead of the four I ditched.

I loved it when I bought it but I recognize this album has aged very bad for me. I only listen to some songs: UTI, SO, TWIG...

I love maybe 4 tracks on the album and quite like about four others, with the rest discarded. So my 8 were easy to pick. These, in no particular order, although I do like this track listing.

Best till last like a good album should be 

The outro on the title track is one of the best they've ever done along with the album version of Living On An Island.

Yep, both are very good. In fact the outro is the only part of LOAI I voluntarily listen to, but best outro has to be Ring Of A Change full stop. And no differing opinions allowed !

I really like this album it has a good mix of light n shade.
The title track and LWL are two of the best tracks the post FF line ups have made.

Nice to see Little Me And You getting another vote craydarr. I really like this one, it has a 50s rock'n'roll feel about it IMO.

Interestingly Little White Lies and Making Waves are the songs included on most albums. Not exactly what I'd have expected.
Generally speaking though we don't mind any of the original tunes and it's the cover we're least keen on.
