Yep He's playing two nights in Kinross on 10 and 11 May. Me and Mrs Mortified are going along to the second night but sis and her hubby are doing both. Work commitments for the lady of the house mean we can only do the Saturday. But given the state that the two female members of the party got in last year, that's maybe not a bad thing

Actually, just as an aside, I got an e-mail the other day from Alabama 3 saying they were doing an acoustic set in Edinburgh on 11 May. Same night as Rhino. Mr Edwards should be thankful I got his tickets first

Not having seen them, live, I don't really know. But the album La Peste is an acoustic recording (I think; sounds like it) and it's excellent.

Speaking of which, I was about to buy tickets to see the legendary Albert Lee in Scottishland but then realised that's the night Mr Edwards is playing in London.
Which would I prefer? No comment - Rhino is bigger than me.

Great gig last night in Winchester, best I’ve seen the band play. Will update when I have more time 🙂 As previously reported it was a great night in Winchester, Rhino, Richard and Jim were on great form and seemed "tighter" than the previous tour. The set seemed to flow very well as apposed to December when I last saw them, I think it was the fact they had a bit more of a structured set list that made the difference. I won't name specific songs as I don't want to spoil it for others who are still going, but I will say they played a good mix of Quo songs, tracks from both of Rhinos albums, the new song previously played (already a classic)and a few covers as well. For the first time I managed to speak to Rhino and he was on good form, he even signed my newly purchased T shirt and posed for a photo with me and my brother. I also spoke to Jim & Richard and they too are good guys who seem to be enjoying themselves. I had a good chat with Mike Hrano, who I haven't seen since the Don't Stop event in Brixton, he still speaks very highly of most of the band and management He did say something interesting to me regarding the sales of Rhinos albums, apparently all 10,000 copies of the first album have gone, but the second album is a long way behind in terms of sales. I know there is a big difference in timescales but in view of the difference in quality I would have thought no2. would have sold equally as well. He did say Rhino will be taking a break from touring the album now as they think they have saturated the touring of this album. As previously stated to my mind it was the best I have seen him / the band play, I will be interested to hear what other people think.

In fact, my sister in law thought they were better than Quo - she liked how relaxed it all was, and that Rhino stayed behind for photos and chat with the punters. Mike Hrano is always very nice - a pity that they can't shift the last few medium polo shirts to get in new stock as I need an XL which sold out before Christmas!!!

An event with me in the room can never be described as a 'small' affair.
