I've seen this before. Can't remember where or when. Probably on here But it does make you wonder what might have been. This is a song that Quo could easily have done justice to if Rick could have got it past the, eh, panel of judges Archetypal Quo? Parody Quo? Maybe a bit of both. Nothing wrong with that whatsoever

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever When I hear this I always think of The Power of Rock, someone said to me it was more like 4500 times but I can’t see that really.

The similarity with The Power Of Rock, I guess, is when the song breaks and changes tempo. I can't really see a parallel with Forty-Five Hundred Times. I think there is a misconception that some of us want Quo to sound like this all of the time. I personally want Quo to sound like this SOME of the time. I'm hoping the road ahead, however short, will give us that variety; that mixture of melody, hook and outright rock which sums the band up for me. Not light, not shade, but a combination of everything.
