Due for release on 26 April by all accounts. blog.eil.com/2019/03/12/status-quo-set-to-release-fifth-and-final-singles-box-set/The track listing for the 10 singles doesn't suggest there is anything that hasn't been officially released before but 6 of them have never been available on vinyl in the past. So I guess that sort of completes the whole every Quo single on vinyl thing. I always find these nice little packages for sad old collectors like me. It looks like they're stopping before everything singles-wise became muddied by mp3 and streaming availability. So no Quid Pro Quo, Bula Quo or Aquostic stuff to come in the same format.

I think that singles from 2010 onwards aren't included purely because Universal don't own those or have rights over anything released under Fourth Chord Records

I lose track!

I understand who'd buy all these - collectors .. What I do wonder is: What do you do with them ? Does anyone really listen to the singles ?? I faintly remember a time when people would buy singles and actually play them, but these days they're are about as impractical as it gets.

But collecting isn't really a practical thing to do. People collect all sorts of things. The list is probably endless. From stamps to surgical implements. A bloke I worked with collected hammers! He simply displayed them in his shed. Beats me but each to their own. You do get mp3 conversion codes with vinyl these days, so any tracks that are previously unreleased can end up on your iPod. But, yeah, if it was just about listening to the music none of us would have a Quo collection! Turntables now also have mp3 conversion software in them as well. But, yes, I am guilty as charged, m'lady.

I lose track! Universal own everything from the 70s right through to 2005(?) I think that's the cut off point. Everything after is Fourth Chord Records. And all the Pye material is owned by BMG, a section of UMG. Cheers

In The Army Now (2010) is there but that one does say "Fourth Chord Records under license to Universal Music TV".

That might be the only exception due to Universal owning the 1986 version of In The Army Now. I sort of wish Quo would do something legally about it so they owned the entirety of their back catalogue, and it wasn't the mess that it currently is...
