I Could Get Used To This and Whiskey In The Jar are both on his new album. Never seen Bryan Adams live although I've always liked him. On and off anyway. Could never take to the many ballads he did but he could rock with the best of them when he wanted. Last thing I grabbed of his was a track called Thunderbolt from a few years back and Run To You is one of my all time favourite singles.

Seen him live a couple of times & he was excellent. Great band with a glorious back catalogue of catchy rock songs. Bit gutted I didn't get tickets for this tour now. 🙄

Like that his greatest hits aren't delivered in a block at the end of the main set - and the encore is worth the name. He's one of the few acts I haven't been to so far, but who I'd like to see live.

Maybe even something he was involved in personally. Happened to the best of us. It was always the melody and the guitar work that grabbed me. It usually is if I'm honest. Not that I was that interested but I could never pick up on lyrics on first listen, especially on radio or TV.

I think "Life is an Open Road" is a better song. Not a big fan of his though, I especially don't like his ballads!

Just a reflection of human nature and the grass is greener mentality getting you into bother They could just as easily been written by a woman I reckon. I'm going to contradict myself now and say that Everything I Do I used to like very much. I was 'courting' at the time so I was prone to the odd lapse

Seen him live 6 or 7 times and find him very hit or miss. Sometimes he has played the full on rock show, the best was actually the time I saw him playing bass with just Keith Scott on guitar and Mickey Curry on drums. The other gig that sticks in the mind is when he was celebrating 20 years of the Waking up the Neighbours, the obvious ballad aside there are a lot of great hard rock songs on that album.
On the other hand, have seen him a couple of times where he has spent the majority of the show playing the acoustic guitar, including solo spots without the band backing, and it was completely dull and boring.
Unfortunately his recent releases have done nothing for me, he has moved so far away from the glorious hard rock of Cuts Like a Knife, Reckless, Into the Fire & Waking Up The Neighbours and moved into bland elevator music.

Not for me, saw him a couple of times in the '80's. El Blando Mucho. You weren't quite sure the first time then? First time he was headlining, I bought the hype. Then I took a lady friend to see Tina Turner. He was support. I hated mainstream music in the eighties. And I still do.
