I remember buying a T-shirt from the Cavern a few years back with all the big name artists listed on the back who’d played there, which included Quo. Having a look on the web but can’t find much about it, just snippets like this:
9 FEBRUARY 1970 Status Quo appeared at the Cavern Club.
Their road manager and harmonica player Bob Young recalls ‘It was very difficult getting all the equipment in and out and the stage was too small for Quo to run around as they tended to do, but we were happy to say we’d played on the same stage where the Beatles had played so many times’.
Anyone know more about it? Was it a one off or part of a tour?
Had many a good night in the Cavern, including my stag do where I got up on stage to sing Jonny B Goode. Would have loved to see Quo there.

The gig at the Cavern on 09:02:70, was part o The Spare Parts Tour 1969/70, supported in Liverpool by Klubs. The following night they played in Manchester.
