It's a date that will now be remembered by us for more than just the obvious seasonal reasons. Wish he'd wrote a better Christmas song. I might have actually played it today I'll settle for Lonesome Road instead.

Absolutely, my FB page is awash with pictures of Rick this morning and no doubt always will be on Xmas Eve for many, many years to come.
The missus and the inlaws have just gone to take the dogs for a walk. I've not gone as I'm heading out on my motorbike for an hour or so but before I get my leathers on I thought I'd take the opportunity to listen to a few Quo tracks, loudly. Mystery Song is blaring out and I'm looking out to sea on this beautiful morning, remembering Rick and the joy he bought me.
No doubt I'll be reminded of him throughout the day and later on I'll be toasting him with a beer or fifteen.
Gone but never forgotten.

Thought of him then and I will do tonight as well when I raise a glass. God Bless You Ricky 🍷

When I was 8 (in 1977) I would stand in front of the mirror in my bedroom in my flares and imaginary guitar and pretend I was Rick Parfitt. I’m 50 next week and still feel the same about him as I did back then.
Legend is a word used far too much but to me he always will be.

Legend is a word used too often these days but in Rick's case it's the only possible word. RIP 🙁
