.. well, not quite. You know I'm not on fb, but sometimes I check out pages to see if something new/interesting is going on in the Quo camp and last night I somehow ended up finding this: linkWhat a great idea ! I'd definitely go if they'd play somewhere in my area, especially since Francis' tour was the most exciting set related to Quo in ages if not ever. Really hoping this is going to be a success so it may spread .. Seems dates aren't announced yet, but as they write they'd answer within the hour someone on fb could always ask for these . You are indeed lucky buggers with all the tours and tributes you get - Rhino, JCQ, .. and now this.

Hmm, this is an odd one. A tribute to the solo work of an artist who's already in another band? Well, one solo gig at any rate.
Not sure I've heard of anything like this before. But, yeah, if it was relatively local I'd probably go along to hear some different Quo songs again. My only concern is that the demand for the Francis tour itself in 2010 didn't exactly crash the Ticketmaster system so I'm not sure how popular this could be.
