As Fran is 1/2" Italian, do the band play over there?

Setlist FM suggests there have been Italian gigs although since 1981 it's been quite sporadic: Quo In ItalyAlthough I'm not sure on the accuracy of this as the '86 gig is noted as being part of the 'Thirsty Work' tour!

I vaguely remember the last gig was cancelled .. Didn't Michael & Sandra aka curly and the model fly over in vain ? It was prior to a Zürich gig which they had booked as well, but I can't recall whether that was cancelled too and the reason for cancellation. Only for once it had nothing to do with illnesses .. Generally speaking they never toured Italy on a regular basis, as proven by Marc's link . Maybe the reason for it was as simple as not having the time for it ? There aren't many bands out there who play as many gigs per year as Quo used to do for decades. So in consequence I don't know how well known they are over there either ..

I think Bellavista Man was inspired by a hotel they were in overlooking Lake Como. But, no, I don't think Italy has ever been a stronghold like, say, Germany or Scandinavia.
Pity. My favourite country is Italy.

Btw. I've just compared the set lists from this summer's recent gigs: linkEither they aren't accurate (which always is a strong possibility..) or Little Lady and at times others too has been dropped .. Maybe rosi has been to Kortrijk and can verify ?
