A bit like Davy Anyway, one link for the use of www.rhinosrevenge.com/ The only gig remotely near me is Troon. In the depths of a Scottish winter. On a Friday night. Yeah, why not? I used to do it for that other band he's in

Yeah, well, without that other band touring what else are you supposed to do on a Friday night, in the depths of a Scottish winter .. ? Seems he's unable to simply sit at home and enjoy the season. Good for him - and the punters. Enjoy

It'll depend on the weather I think. Troon is across country on the west coast and 122km away. Famous for its championship golf course. A Rhino gig is always worth the effort though.

Thanks for that mortified, I'm considering Winchester as its only a few miles down the road. I saw him there last time, he was great but the venue is a bit cack.

I used to do it for that other band he's in Depending on far you have to travel, I'd say "Go!" You'll enjoy it. From experience, it's unlikely he'll play The Oriental (not guaranteed); I don't think I'm giving much away by saying he'll be playing RR stuff and likely he'll include a Quo song or two somewhere. Chances are high that tickets will still be available at short notice (even on the night), so if the weather's too bad to travel you won't lose out.
