It put the biggest smile on my face when they carried on after the place where it would normally segue into Rain! Even though they only did a little bit more (and then a bit of Gotta Go Home) it really made a difference; loved it!

Yep, love the way 4500x was played and then merged into GGH too, but otherwise I very much prefer the 2013 videos.

You know, I've still never seen that DVD. I don't own it yet. I could only ever find it on Blu-Ray and I didn't have a player. I do now. Maybe one day Nice rendition. Almost the perfect length for me.

Almost the perfect length for me. We've been buying bluerays when possible for some time now. I.e. I've long since replaced my FR live at St.Lukes DVD with the blueray version. Quality is so much better and most of the time (as in the aforementioned case) so are the extras. Give it a try !

I seem to keep replacing Quo things through the years as technology progresses. Vinyl to 8-track cartridge or cassette Vinyl to CD CD to mp3 Video to Laser Disc Video to CDR Video to DVD DVD to Blu-Ray I dare say I'll ultimately replace everything with a media microchip implanted into what's left of my rapidly ageing brain

Great stuff that. To me, it's almost the perfect version containing all the elements that really matter from what is their greatest song. I never really paid all that much attention before but Alan is virtually static throughout and concentrating deeply in parts. Kudos and respect to the man. Anyone else in his condition - whatever his condition is - and many much fitter couldn't have taken that on. And is it my imagination or does Rick play the opening bars slightly differently? Right. Let's get online and grab that Blu-Ray DVD. Something for those cold, dark, Scottish nights.

Grabbed the Blu-Ray yesterday along with Last Night Of The Electrics (I had neither) so they'll be popping through the door next week. It'll certainly beat an episode of "Holby City" on a Tuesday night

They don't get the 'Scottish' soap so now the telly gets flicked over to BBC Other Region to maintain the, eh, status quo. I do leave the room during it. It's gruesome.

I'll get round to it. It only arrived yesterday along with the Last Night of the Electrics DVD. We're renting a lighthouse cottage for a week at the end of May. We'll probably take the DVD's with us. Can't see us getting 7 days of glorious weather even heading into June If you want an update, it is very cloudy and dark this morning with slight drizzle but the temperature is a fairly reasonable 12°. Positively tropical by recent standards
