We've just booked up for these at the end of the year, Paul Youngs side band.
Have seen them a few times before, very good players and a crackin night out.

Not a big fan of his ballads but he has done some good tracks, particularly the more unknown material.

Great stuff, craydarr I never knew Paul Young even had a side project! They have a Los Lobos feel (and look) about them. Love it! I was never a Paul Young fan in the 80's; just not my thing. But I'd have sat up and taken more notice had it been more like this. Paul Young was VERY successful in the UK, snakelady and had a string of hit singles. He also took one of the lead parts on the Band Aid single that Francis and Rick were on.

He has had the band for years, I think as his career has faded somewhat this has given him the opportunity to play more with them.
They are all top session players, Jamie the guy singing and playing lead on Woolly Bully is the second guitarist in Queens touring band.
mortified, they describe themselves as Tex Mex, so Los Lobos is a good comparison.
Don't know if you are aware but it was a shame about Pauls wife dying very recently tho.

I didn't know. That's a real shame. He can't be all that old so I presume she wasn't either. I've tended not to take much notice of Paul Young over the years unless he pops up (as he does regularly) on TOTP 80's repeats. In fact, I don't know much about the guy. I think he was in a band called Q-Tips back in the day and was also involved in a UK hit called Toast. But that's about it. And both not yesterday!

Isn't it funny how we can enjoy music now that we'd never would have risked being seen listening to in our youth. The guys seem to have a lot fun playing it too - including the accordion .. .

They always seem to enjoy playing together when I have seem them.
I wondered when the accordion would be brought up. Well done snakelady ,
