Good review. I agree about the fragility of Rick's voice on Without You. I felt the same about his vocal performance on All The Reasons from Aquostic. I much prefer the latter song but the point isn't lost on me. Nice one

I am not agree with the statement that Rick was still a rocker. The album has pop songs and ballads. It is a mid-tempo album. It seems that there are 2-3 rock songs. Thus, to me it would be better to say something along the lines "he had not forgotten how to rock", he was still capable of writing rocks songs...". Also, it should not be overlooked the fact that two songs were from a previous album, and at least other one was not written by him. I wonder how many songs of over and out was written by Rick himself and specifically for this album. Still, I like all the songs and snippets that I have heard. I think I will buy the cd.
