I managed to grab this from iTunes not that long ago although I did have an unofficial copy from somewhere kicking about. I'm sure the album said "narrated by Robert Powell" or something. All besides the point really because I think it's bl00dy awful

Yep, have heard it before too - novelty record filed under 'strange side project' in my head.

Yep, have heard it before too - novelty record filed under 'strange side project' in my head. A very early indication that any Rossi/Frost projects were doomed to failure purely on the basis of popular taste

I'd never heard this up until now, wasn't even aware that such a thing existed.
Not really my cup of tea but appreciate the opportunity of hearing things like this

It's one of the few Rossi / Frost songs (Not Quo related) that appeals to me

.. I much prefer Francis getting involved with this band here: (Francis comes on at around 2:40. You can't miss it. ) Got to admit I'm not able to distinguish his guitar and what Francis is doing there

Is it my imagination or have Quo always had a tendency to get involved in some seriously ropey - and generally failed - projects? Look at this lot: Getting Better - relatively successful multi-artist Beatles album and film with Quo tucked away pretty much unnoticed compared to others who got the big push like Elton, Rod and The Bee Gees; The Wild Ones - Title soundtrack for a movie remake that never happened; Ships In The Night - Anyone else ever seen or heard of this Exiled thing? Whatever it was; Can't Give You More - Remake of a song for an advert for Perrier water that never happened because of adverse publicity for the company at the time; Christmas In The Sun - A song I rather liked but, in retrospect after Rolf's conviction, perhaps not the wisest move!; Bula Quo! - I think we all have a negative opinion of that one; the movie at any rate I'm sure there are more across the decades to make us cringe a little bit with a passing "what were you thinking?" Or have they just been unlucky?
