Taken from FB. Great to see Matt playing Quo again:
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT...
Five years ago, this week, Matt Letley announced he was leaving Status Quo after over 12yrs with the band. Now, five years to the day of his final UK performance with Status Quo, The Quo Experience is delighted to announce that Matt Letley will be joining the band for a number of shows around the UK during 2018.
As full-time drummer with Status Quo between 2000 and 2013, Matt is beyond doubt a Status Quo legend! He has been dearly missed by many thousands of Quo fans around the world and all involved with TQE feel proud and privileged to have him on board as an on-going part of the team in the New Year.
Matt performed with The Quo Experience at The White Rock in Hastings back in July, and enjoyed working with the band so much that he has offered his services again following the return of Shaun Michaels as 'Francis Rossi'.
Matt says that the special chemistry he felt onstage with Shaun as 'Rossi' and Dave Crawte as 'Rick Parfitt' was a key factor in attracting him to perform with TQE again, describing the experience as 'an excellent show, really capturing the essence of the Quo I played with for 13 years - the attention to detail was awesome.'
Completing the line-up for the Matt Letley shows will be Del Fletcher, on bass, and original TQE member Graham Partridge as ‘Andy Bown’, who sees his and fellow band members' loyalty and commitment to the Quo cause validated by Matt's impending arrival. Roll on 2018!
Watch this space for the very special dates when you can see ‘The Quo Experience with Special Guest Matt Letley’ in 2018.

Like the sound of that. I do miss things coz I'm not on the Book of Faeces so sticking it up here is appreciated.

That does sound great - for Matt and for fans alike, especially with Quo not touring next year ..

Hm, if threads about JC's Quo are in the solo section, we better move this one over as well, I guess ..

Saw them in Livingston last summer (without Matt). They were very good - Shaun Michaels is uncanny as Rossi! They play a CQ type of setlist. Well worth a watch.

Dates with Matt are up: linkI'd actually love to see this band. Tributes concentrating on FF are fine, especially when the set consists of tracks that have never been played by the original, but bands playing the new stuff are far more exciting IMO. @excitableboy - What was the set they played when you saw them ?

Just had a look at dates. I think Inverness would be the most practical for us. There are plenty half decent hotels around. It's about 230km but it's motorway/dual carriageway all the way up. And thankfully it's a Saturday. We've got Rhino's Revenge a fortnight later and I'm keeping an eye on Triple J (Jeff Rich) because there's a suggestion of York in May. I remember when we used to follow Quo around
