Who's going tonight off here then out of interest?
Looking forward to a great show.
I wonder what the ticket sales have been like?

Too ill to go. Offered my £55 ticket to fans for free early this afternoon but no takers. Too close to the event I expect.

Ann sorry to hear you couldn’t make it. I did look all around the balcony from where I was stood and didn’t see you so I did wonder if you’d gone or not.
I didn’t intend to go until my kids bought me a ticket and even as I drove to Wolverhampton I have to say I wasn’t really looking forward to it.
Well how wrong could I be....they were superb. I was stood quite near the front in front of Francis and IMO it was a great show. The whole band looked like they were really enjoying themselves and Andy and Rhino’s vocals were much better than I had anticipated. Rick will never be replaced but Richie filled in very well indeed he did fine.
I thought I was finished with Quo but I was wrong....I will go and see them at every opportunity if they tour again.
And cats in space, looked very cheesy but were a good support....all in all a very unexpectedly enjoyable night.

My 6th time to see Quo and it was the best one apart from the unfair comparison to the Fab 4 reunion. I must have been stood very near you Colin as that was pretty much where I was. Something magical about standing up at these smaller venues and Quo and the support band certainly didn't disappoint!

I was about 6 rows back I had a tall lad with long hair and denim jacket with patches and his nan in front of me.
I’ve always liked gigs at Wolverhampton civic hall, always a great atmosphere.
I went with an open mind and they won me over...i was more than impressed.
I’m in Tenerife next May but come home the week before Quo play there...shame I would have gone,

Hi Colin
I too went, and was pleasantly surprised, and highly impressed ! Like lots of other members of the board, I've been following them since the 70's, and I too thought it was one of the best quo gigs I've ever been to, irrespective of the lineup. They were more like a single unit, than I can ever remember the band being in the past, with all members taking lead vocals, aside from Leon, and, boy did they rock !! And yes, even Cats In Space were good.
I've missed a couple of years, but I thought the set list was good, with full versions of Rain, something'bout you baby, don't drive my car etc. I do so hope they record a new album, and use the impetus that Richie has obviously given them to promote it live !!
There was only 1 fly in the ointment last night, some sub human idiot threw a bag of 'pooh' onto the stage, the band handled it with good humour though, so it didn't detract too much from the night, whoever flung it, no doubt comes from either Low Hill or the Dovecotes, pure and utter scum.

I saw an object thrown onto the stage. If it was a bag of pooh then that’s disgusting. I also hope they record an album and I think they will.

I only noticed the bit where they were looking down and Rossi mentioned "poo". I didn't realise someone had actually thrown it on. I just thought he must have been joking to be honest.
There's a line to be drawn and that goes beyond it but still it didn't spoil the night one little bit on what was an amazing performance from Rossi and co.

My daughter offered to take me just in time for Quo appearing and wait around W/ton for me for it to finish but I didn't feel up to it. Pity because it was probably my last chance to see them. Glad you enjoyed it.
