Nice bit of publicity - although I doubt he could make a living out of it. More kind of a satisfying hobby for him. No family involved this time though - kids grown up and going their own ways now, obviously ..

-'Rhino himself describes the band’s music as “a bit more of a punky bluesy style than Quo, and less subtle”.
Personally I'd listen to this kind of music eight days a week ( ) compared to what Quo are doing these days.

Ah, and there was me thinking you were loving the acoustic stuff My problem with Rhino's solo stuff is his singing. It's not his fault - I can't sing either (and still do it in the car ) - but I'd much rather be prepared to listen to it, if he'd get Francis as the singer .

No, snakelady . Rhino plays "Rhino rock". Francis' voice wouldn't really fit here. .. I'm aware of that - I merely put it like this because that's one voice I do like .. There'd be no point in them cooperating when it comes to the solo material anyway - else it would sound like Quo again or as near as. And I'd much prefer it, if Francis would start to release some own solo stuff again or at least the album he's done with Hannah Rickard. It's nearly May now and still nothing .. :ignore:

Is Hannah's a voice you like then...? I actually have no idea if I'm going to like it or not. I don't like many female voices either - I do love Tracy Chapman e.g. - but I'd expect them both to sing on this recording and them doing duets could at least be interesting.

I've listened to Hannah Rickard and I'm not that keen. Her voice has less dynamic than I would normally go for. Then again, harmonising with Francis might work a treat, who knows? Actually, I find her delivery not dissimilar to Bernadette, Francis's daughter. Which may explain his interest.

OK we're off topic a bit, but I quite like her voice (Hannah rather than Bernadette - mind you I quite like Bernadette's voice as well.) Her vocal on You've Changed reminds me of Pat Benatar on the True Love album which is described as jump blues. Kind of what Hannah and the Relatives are about I guess.
