The original piss poor version is the all Rossi one from what I've heard, and the re-recorded version is Quo... not entirely sure though. Either way the re-recorded version beats it and is a favourite of mine! Love the solo, and the video they recorded for it during the Zwolle gig is excellent

Sorry lads...both versions is absolutely c.r.a.p. Imvho
Those irritating keys would have fitted nicely on the AC album a couple of years later.

The album version is actually a demo.
The sessions for the re-recorded version also spawned "I Wonder Why".
I'm fairly sure the bass on both are synthesized, they don't sound human at all.
As for who played, my money would be on Rossi, Bown, Kircher & Frost.
The 7" was the first record I ever bought at the age of 9, so I kind of have a special interest in it!

Shame they didn't film more concerts from that tour and compiled songs together for a more fitting release under the "More From The Road" title

Eh, it's far from good, yet far from bad.

Would love to get hold of the bootleg footage. It was widely available amongst traders a few years back, i have it I'd ask if you'd accept anything in trade for it but I don't think I have anything that you won't have

One of my all time least favourites. From my least favourite Quo album. I think both versions are naff. But its the arrangement of it rather than the general melody, which is actually pretty good. They need to re-record it AGAIN! And get it right this time

Absolutely loved the song from first hearing and couldn't care less about synths or drum machine or whatever ! Best song from an under par album with less than a handful of good songs. The longer version with the solo is definitely the better one though. And the fact the album version is the demo explains why it's merely Francis on it.

A total shock horror this one for me when it came out. Absolutely detest it !! I immediately listed my beloved Vinyl collection in the Trcord Collector straight after it and somebody drove from Golders Green in a Capri and bought the lit... spectres, Traffic Jam and all. Paid for my first house deposit so for that I say thank you the abysmal GDTT !
