Best song written by Rick since Little White Lies (including his QPQ songs). Hold Me isn't that bad either .. Lyrics must've been written when he moved on from one of his girls to the next (no idea from whom to whom though) and are so typical Rick.

Rick should have sued himself after Let's Rock, the chorus sounds extremely similar to Alright..

Yep, the chorus on both songs sound extremely similar... Don't many Quo songs sound similar in parts then ? Yeah, quite a few but the topic is about Alright and Let's Rock is the one that sounds very similar to that...

Yeah, quite a few but the topic is about Alright and Let's Rock is the one that sounds very similar to that... I know that ,, my point being that its just not applicable to Rick songs is it,. so nothing new really then Of course not but you make it sound like I was having a go at Rick, nothing could be further from the truth...

Of course not but you make it sound like I was having a go at Rick, nothing could be further from the truth... I know you weren't having a go at Rick, yer comment is a fair one, I simply redressed the balance as in it wasn't unique to Rick. There was no redressing the balance done - you were simply generally attacking Francis as you haven't mentioned a single example of two Rossi songs that sound similar. All you did was speculating. It was superfluous on this thread anyway. What about you start a thread 'Quo songs you think sound very similar ?' (In that case I'd contribute Rain and Good Sign. I've always thought GS was a great song and the far better version of the two despite the similarity)

Hm, to me the lines 'rain that#s falling, rain that's falling ..' and 'it's a very good sign, a very good time ..' sound very similar. Maybe it's just me though - it wouldn't be the first time either .. . I know at the time I thought Bellavista Man very much resembled another Rick song as well, but now I can't remember which.
