Think my collecting days are over.
There's some things there that I'd like to have on CD as opposed to vinyl but as I no longer have a record player, this is just something else that would sit there taking up space and gathering dust if I purchased it.
Mind you, I didn't own a record player when I bought the vinyl copy of ISOTFC and I think that's under by bed gathering dust.

Whoever came up with the names for the mixes ??
I've never been a collector or completist even and I don't listen to vinyl any more. Points 1., 2. and 8. do sound interesting, the rest - not.

In my humble opinion, Sharon The Nag mix is a best version of The Wanderer. It's a bit rougher, more raw I think.
Think it was on the Who Gets The Love CD single.
Would like the Milton Keynes medley on CD though |

I reckon most will already have these, on the original releases,,so I don't honestly feel there will be a great deal of interest in it. No I have no real interest in the Vinyl revolution. I saw Animals by Pink Floyd on sale in HMV for £22. Sorry I won't be paying that could buy an original release for £7 around the corner in the 2nd hand record shop we have in the town. Anyway I have it on CD so not really interested. |
