Has there been one or are there any plans for one. I'd buy it without hesitation!

The guy on the band pic is suspiciously made to look like Francis .. He is Francis. The pic was taken at Glasgow Apollo. Actually, I don't think its meant to indicate anything other than Quo given the title of the album. Apart from Life After Quo, I don't think there is anything from Alan. And it is basically a compilation of his work with The Party Boys and The Bombers. Some good, some not so good. Worth a listen though, especially the cover of John Kongos's He's Gonna Step On You Again, a single here in the UK. Always thought it better than the Happy Mondays version. But their timing was better

I think Life After Quo is the worst of his solo work - strange since it's a compilation. There are albums from The Party Boys and The Bombers. I love the Bombers album - proper hard rock but with a melody - a step further than classic Quo towards hardness. However, difficult to find. The Party Boys album with Alan can be downloaded from here (scroll down on the landing page): rockonvinyl.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/The%20Party%20BoysWish they hadn't covered High Voltage - like Quo stuff, no-one covers AC/DC well.

No, wasn't me. I didn't even know the album had been placed on here.
I agree about AC/DC. Simple as they are always accused of being, doing their songs justice is not easy and rarely, if ever, done. Same goes with the Stones I guess.

LAQ is awful. I donated it to a flea-market for social issues some years ago. It was bought for 1 Euro. Better than nothing.

No surprises there then, if its true Do you remember once referring to Alan as Shaky, with regards to his illness ?, I do It is true. And yes it was no surprise for me. Same old, Ivey, same old. Yes, like many of us on one of the older message-boards I noticed his bad physical condition because of his illness on the filmed reunion gig. It was very sad and I really hope his health is not too bad.

I will leave it at that, I feel another bollocking being launched at me tomorrow Exactly, Ive.
