Never understood why this wasn't put on a Quo album, it was a demo Alan did for Quo. Another missed opportunity, one of many Of course to FRQ/Rossi fans it will sound awful, so no need for them to comment Wasn't that one of the songs demoed in 1985 when Alan came over and recorded with rick? He was out the band when the next album was recorded. I always wondered why they never appeared for one of his other bands. Just listened to the full set today - dare I say they're not that good? Thought not

Hmm, I like this. It has real potential and a great hook. Its actually the best thing I've heard from Alan since Over The Edge and is a million times better than the demoed and dreadful One Of A Kind. Interesting to hear one of the few sax solos on a Quo track but I wonder if it was meant for Quo at all despite its very evident Quo 'feel'. Difficult to tell. If this was recorded in the 80's, it would have made a great single and I'm pretty certain, given the full production treatment, it'd have been a substantial hit. Well, certain as anyone can be. The slide on it sounds like it might be Pip Williams but, of course, that's just a guess. I'm pretty sure it's not Francis. Nice. Ta for sharing.

Never heard this before until now and I like it.
Would have been interesting to hear how this would have turned out after the band had given it "the works".

Same could maybe be said of other demo's by various members of the band that never saw the light of day for reasons unknown.I still reckon there is stuff stashed away somewhere gathering dust Has this been on YouTube for a while?
