I found it odd but not surprising that following Ricks passing no Quo album ever charted highly, usually when a well known artist passes at least 1 of their albums (usually a GH album) will chart highly, even if only for a few brief weeks, it didn't happen in Quo's case, proof that the fan base has diminished ? Possibly. I tend to lean more to the fact that even in the news his passing went almost unnoticed. By rock star standards at any rate. We all know what we think of the coverage George Michael has had. And he had three compilations on the go after the turn of the year. Personally I think Rick's death was treated with great dignity by the band and the management. There was no clamouring to exploit it whatsoever. Quite refreshing. As for this CD, the inclusion of some very unusual tracks plus the very much sought after (by me ) Milton Keynes Medley may well have contributed to any sales.

Additionally George Michael was famous as - George Michael, same as Prince (whatever his real name ?) as Prince (after that TAFKAP episode). Rick on the other hand has only ever been the blonde one from Quo. So to sell albums in his name would've been difficult. Else I'm sure at least Pye would've released yet another 'greatest hits' package 'a tribute to RP' or similar.
