I watched the FF Reunion from Hello Quo the other day and it reminded me how much I love this song from it.

I so wanted them to do this on the reunion tour, sadly they didn't

I honestly don't know but there's a few versions/snippets of this on the Status Quo Live at the BBC cd.

I think but perhaps others can confirm, that the band used to perform this when they were The Spectres. If not then, then in the very early days of SQ.

They recorded the song for a Radio 1 session on the 6th September October 1966 when they were called The Spectres. A version as 'Status Quo' was recorded at a BBC session on the 29th March 1968.

What I love about CD1 from the BBC box set is, that we get versions of the same songs from the very first performances, then from a year or so later a.s.o.
And it's so obvious to hear how they improve and get better and tighter from one appearance to the next. That CD alone is worth the whole box set. 

I'm another one of those who absolutely loved the Gloria performance from the Hello rehearsal session and I too had hoped it would be included in the live set. It would've been great, had they included 2-3 of the pre-Quo tunes as well, but they'd have been pre-Rick songs too, so rather improbable. Guess I've just been greedy there ..

If you close your eyes and listen to this it could be mistaken for a Stones song....anyway it's sounded amazing
