My first Quo gig was at Wembley Arena in December 1989 - Me and my Dad (I was 16 at the time). 25 years later at the O2 in 2014 it was still me and my Dad, but also my son (12 at the time). I thought that it might be pushing it a bit taking my 4 year old daughter to the O2. Anyway, its 2017 now. My son is 15, my daughter 7 and I'm taking my Wife and both kids to the Brentwood Festival!

In '79 my friend and I still didn't have a drivers licence, so my mum was taken along for that reason and became a Quo fan straight away. In '91 I managed to convince her to again come along with me to a Quo gig as nobody else had the time. After the Roundhouse gig, Quo played a second acoustic in Stuttgart - and that was the final time my mum went to a Quo gig with me. From 2003 on we've been taking our boys along (aged 5 and 7 then) to Quo gigs once every year at least. Last time with Rick was in May last year and last electric gig was during the LNOTE tour. They're not interested in the acoustic stuff though, so nothing planned for this year as a family so far .. So three generations as well, just not all together.

Great stuff. I'm not too bothered about the aquatic shows, but Brentwood is Electric so looking forward to that!

Well done you, it's great to pass it on. I have an 18yr old lad and a 13 yr old girl, Quo were the first band they saw live, my boy has seen them 3 times and my daughter just the once. My wife has been loads of times over the years, I Have taken my mum a few times, she's 84 and the last time was last year. I have introduced loads of people over the years and they all had a great time, some of them have been back loads of times. My daughter still likes a few of the Quo songs but she is into here own stuff now, she loves live gigs though and I like to think the fire was lit by Quo.

There's an 'edit' button top right, right beside the 'quote' button .. .. and you weren't the first to call them aquatic. Having been to two already I can recommend you give them a chance though.
