link - photosupdate * Special Guest Announcement * Status Two will be performing at The Trust Inn, Kilbarchan on Friday 17th February in memory of Quo's Rick Parfitt, who sadly passed away on Christmas Eve. We are pleased to announce not one, but two Special Guests on the evening. William & Gordon will be joined on stage by former 'Status Quoing' Lead Guitarist, Jay Fitzpatrick, as they perform Classic Quo Hits & Album Tracks from the 'Frantic Four's era in the 1970's. The 'Godfather Of Rock' Mr. Tom Russell will also be joining us on the evening to share some of his personal memories of Rick and Status Quo, as well as signing copies of his new autobiography. It's shaping up to be a busy night, so if you are coming along, be sure to let us know in advance. www.tomrussellrocks.comwww.jayfitzpatrick.co.uk

An update of the running times With just over a week to go before our 'Rick Parfitt Tribute Gig' at The Trust Inn, Kilbarchan, we are pleased to announce that a Replica of Rick's famous White Telecaster, signed by the 'Frantic Four' will be on display during the night. If you fancy a photo with it.... just ask. There will also be photos of the man himself on display, as well as various items of Quo memorabilia... Tom Russell will be in attendance from about 9:00pm, signing copies of his autobiography, 'The Godfather Of Rock', before taking to the microphone at 9:15pm to share some personal memories of Rick and Quo... We'll start making some noise about 9:30pm.... Drop us a message, or mark on the event if you intend to come along.... It's shaping up to be an incredibly busy night... Hope to see you there.... Let's Rock! Read more: statusquo.boards.net/thread/7099/status-gig-dedicated-rick-parfitt?page=1#ixzz4Y72bsumI

That's a great version actually ! Enjoyed watching this, as I love the song anyway. Your lead guitarist/singer is really good, a fine 'Francis'. You've turned into a real rocker - including the long curls for the head-banging. :rr-hbg:

William does a grand job on the lead and singing and really nice person and always great to play on stage with him. Now I can go bonkers now with headbanging as this one always lifts my spirits up. As just think Rick the 70`s period of quo getting stuck in. www.youtube.com/watch?v=687r3hPQZd8
