Hi all,
I'm just trying to work out some details to see how I might do the aqoustic gig in July. Am I right in guessing that Quo will have a support act for the tour? I didn't go to the last aquostic tour so did they have a support then?
Just trying to work out timings!
Thanks all!

There was a support act at most of the gigs I went to and Quo came on at the usual time more or less. If you're talking about the Royal Albert Hall gig, I imagine there will be a support. But that's just an educated guess rather than known fact. There was no support at the Roundhouse but that was a live broadcast so a bit of a one-off I suppose.

Yep, there was a support act at the Hammy gig in spring. No idea what it was though, as we staid at the bar - which wasn't a problem as it was an all seated gig. On a side note: I actually don't quite get the attraction of the venue - an old, relatively small building that must've been a movie theater in days gone by.
The acoustic gig in December is going to be all seated as well, which won't exactly help with the atmosphere, but it allows a late arrival. No idea if there will be a support as none is mentioned on the ticket ..

Thanks for that - basically, I'm weighing up whether I'll make the last train home (Devon bound) or whether I need to make other arrangements!

Generally speaking that'll depend on your attitude towards the trip and maybe if you're going on your own or not IMO. If you merely go there for the gig you'll probably comfortably catch a train back home afterwards. On the other hand you could say I make it a nice mini-holiday - find me some comfortable hotel with a yummy breakfast buffet and do some sightseeing afterwards before heading home (that's what I'd do ..) - after all it is May already, so you might have lovely spring weather. - You see, you've got to find out what you want .. .

Will be most interesting to see how tickets sell and how many tickets they manage to sell for these Aquostic gigs. Well, one thing is for sure - it's a different type of tour. The venues are smaller with some rather posh, all seated and tickets are considerably more expensive. In consequence I'm not sure we're going to get the standard Quo audience. This might appeal to a different demography here.
