I too have wondered this.....Incredibly i have a copy of the album on Cassette tape..It had been recorded of course from the original..No idea who by,or how i came to have it.I still have one working Cassette player....Purchased one of those Retro music centres, with turntable etc.On the other side of the tape, someone put on the Tokyo Quo live album....
Feel lucky to have em both, all be it on recorded tape.
It would be a great fitting tribute i believe to have this Recorded delivery album re released..It would be one Recorded Delivery (me being a postman) that i`dlove to have in proper format....

Yeh think that's a brilliant idea, long as all profits go to benefit his twins or perhaps charities, he supported. If it is, it should maybe done as pre-order only on cd or as download. Then they can minimize the initial outlay so the majority of the money is available for them.

Well said & agreed It's not a great album and could really do with some updating (change the bloody drum sounds into something less 80s, for example) but I would certainly have a copy.

Which is why I said in my original post to perhaps get Pip involved in it, along with some band members "Poppy" Pip is the last person you want involved with the possible exception of Mike Paxman, it needs to be done properly by a producer with serious rock credentials, otherwise it will still sound like Rick with 80's bubblegum pop backing.

I rate Pip over Mike Paxman, besides, Pip could also add some guitar himself if require to do so I'd rate Stock Aitken and Waterman over Mike Paxman but I'd still prefer a producer with a harder edged sound than Pip, he tends to do very fancy solos and I think Rick's music needs a much rougher, bluesier lead guitar, I'd suggest Micky Moody or Bernie Marsden.

They are more than likely still around. Rick mentioned in an interview that the tapes are just collecting dust... so they might not be in the best condition

Have you heard ISOTFC? If this gets done, making it a deluxe with the original (as approved by Pip and Rick) mixes and with new remixes to take some of the 80s sheen off it (and perhaps existing outtakes/extended versions?) would seem like a good idea. In fact, I am going to forward that suggestion when I have time...
