In the light of Ricks passing and the loss of others taking over the media news are we likely to be told when and where Ricks funeral will be held? a) I fully understand family may want a private experience with no fuss b) not all fans will have the ability to attend anyway c) fans will want to know ....if like me I would like to listen to This Is Me/Living On an Island whilst raising a glass at the appropriate time to a Great man that has been a huge part of my life

Media in general don't usually annouce things like this - and I'm quite sure the Quo site won't either. Maybe Yvonne knows ? You could contact her via e-mail/pm , as they won't put anything up on the FTMO site either I'd assume. Otherwise I've no idea and not sure it's something that should be made public. There are too many people around, who enjoy watching desasters, funerals, .. for the sensationalist aspect (I call them catastrophe tourists)

I saw something on Twitter from FTMO.
Doesn't mention anything about the funeral arrangements but is does mention that there's to be a laying of wreaths at various venues that Quo have played at over the years.
29 December 3pm outside The Hammersmith Apollo. 30 December at the Half Moon in Putney (no time given). 30 December at the SECC Glasgow. There is a garden of remembrance at the side of the main building. 30 December at the Civic Hall Wolverhampton at 2pm. 30 December at the Motor Point Arean Nottingham at 3pm.
Best check on Twitter in case I've got any of those wrong (scribbled it down and struggling a little to decipher my hand writing now)

I'd much prefer it if people, instead of wasting money on flowers and wreaths, would give to a charity close to Rick's heart - like the dogs trust. Everybody deals differently with the loss though ..

I can understand the interest but personally, I'd rather let the family get on with the arrangements etc without the intrusion.
Funerals are hard enough without leaving the church, crematorium, graveyard and being under the scrutiny of tv cameras etc
